For life jacket and boat ride debuts at three weeks young..
...and for long naps in the great outdoors...

For secret islands...
...for fires...a cool breeze...for cribbage...for long talks...and for little boy adventures..

For wide open spaces..
...for brother-love...and for frogs and fish galore...

For uber unhealthy lunches of hotdogs and smores...
...and for only feeling a tiny bit guilty about it.

 For the first swim of the season..

For crashing - HARD - after a long day of playing in the sun..
...and for having ice cream for supper.

 For sweet next door neighbors coming over for snuggles...

...For first visits to church..
...for babies wearing dresses...and for mamas wearing camo...

 ...And for typing this entire post with one finger while hot, fussy babies are snuggled and soothed...
